Well, I just had several new town ideas. I don't know if they have been done before, so I apologise for any similarities.

2. Lead slinger - Iron slinger (Toolshed): Heavily armored person that hurls bits of metal with a sling.
3. Slag bird - Slag Eagle (Slag heap): A tough bird with pecking attacks. Cannot be poisoned.
4. Ore beetle - Greater ore beetle (Burrows): A solid melee attacker. Looks like a stag beetle. Greaters can attack 2 spaces due to their large jaws.

Special buildings:
Public baths: breeds workers

Grail: Great Engine.

Name: Asylum
Alighnment: Evil

2. Watchman - Sentry (Watch tower) : armed with a ranged weapon of some kind. Cannot be blinded.
3. Bloodhound - Rabid bloodhound (Blood kennels) : A fast canine attacker. 2 attacks.
4. Enforcer - Executioner (Armoury) : A heavily-armored soldier with a long halberd.
Attack affects two spaces.
5. Preacher - Plague preacher (public square) : attackers with their voices. 10% chance of controlling enemy stack.
6. Doom crow - doom shadow (Attic of doom) : A huge, black bird. Enemies attacking it suffer MASSIVE luck penalties. Swoops like a harpy.
7. Horror - Abomination (Dark corner) : An enormous insect-like thing. Lowers enemy morale. Paralyses target. Target cannot retaliate.
8. Shadow steed - Nightmare (Black belltower) : To get an idea of what it looks like, look at the 7th edition Nightmare card from Magic: The Gathering. Enemies cannot retaliate. Their luck AND morale drops. It is immune to all mind spells. It teleports to anywhere to the battlefield. Its attacks have a 10% chance of causing instant death on 90% of the entire stack. Need I say more?

Hi!

I think it will be better if creature have more abilities/properties, so weak creatures can fight more powerful creatures because of their abilities.

EXAMPLE: Efreet attack Gargolye - Efreet does no damage to Gargolye because of Gargolye's stoneskin. Or fire will heal flame beings(Fire Elemental, Phoenix etc.)

Thanks.

Vlad.

Oops, my bad I forgot to mention what each UNIT looks like in my eyes:

Wisp - A ball of light (...) hovering in the air. The wisps fire energy at their opponent to inflict long-range damage. In melee they propel themselves at their opponent.

Will'o'Wisp - Three shimmering balls of light hovering in the air. The will'o'wisps fire energy at their opponents to inflict long-range damage. In melee they propel themselves at their opponent. (10% chance of blinding the enemy)

Brownie - Similar in appearance to that of a Dwarf. The Brownie is dressed in tattered brown garb and has a pouch of dust he sprinkles on his enemies.

Leprechaun - Similar in appearance to that of a Dwarf. The Leprechaun is dressed in an official green suit and also has a green hat with a clover in it. The Leprachaun now has a goatee. He has a pouch of dust he sprinkles on his enemies.

Fungus - The fungus looks similar to a dendroid, it is a large walking mushroom with a red mushroom-top with white spots on it. The Fungus attacks his opponent like a Dendroid would.

Myconid - The Myconid is of a blue tint and has a larger top, free of spots. The Myconid attacks his opponent like a Fungus would.

Mermaid - The Mermaid looks like a Water Elemental with a human torso and head full of shining red hair and the tail is green and scaly -- so in theory it doesn't look much like a Water Elemental. The Mermaid slaps her opponent with her tail.

Siren - The siren looks like a Mermaid only with long blonde hair. The Siren screams at her opponent. (10% chance of paralyzing target)

Crystal Golem - Like a Diamond Golem only less blue and more transparent.

Diamond Golem - [See Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Neutral Units]

Nymph - An elegant woman wearing a blue cloak that covers most of her body except for below her knees. She also wears a white mask with eerie, decorative designs on it. The Nymph kicks her opponent viciously for an attack.

Dryad - An elegant woman wearing a red cloak that covers most of her body aside from her now blonde hair and down to just above her knees, the Dryad's mask is no longer there and reveals a beautiful young face. The Nymph kicks her opponent viciously for an attack.

Gypsy - A Gypsy looks like an Enchanter only without the silver armour and have a heavy headress. The Gypsy fires energy at their opponent to inflict long-range damage. In melee the Gypsy attacks with his dagger. (Can cast Stone Skin on a target)

Enchanter - [see like...Enchanters from Heroes Chronicles]

Pegasus - A Pegasus resembles that of a Unicorn minus the horn but with a set of wings. The Pegasus breathes a mist (...) onto the enemy to inflict damage.

Dream Pegasus - The Dream Pegasus resembles that of a Pegasus with resilliant wings and a shining mane. The Dream Pegasus breathes a mist (...) onto the enemy to inflict damage. (50% put to sleep)

Okay, here is an idea for a "Town" for Heroes of Might and Magic 4. I think it is good!!!
Heh.

Spring (as in the water fountain type thing...)

Shaman (Might), Magus (Magic)

Wisp - Will'o'Wisp (Sparkle Tree, Upg. Sparkle Tree)
Brownie - Leprechaun (Rainbow, Upg. Rainbow)
Fungus - Myconid (Mushroom Trench, Upg. Mushroom Trench)
Mermaid - Siren (Enchanted Lake, Upg. Enchanted Lake)
Crystal Golem - Diamond Golem (Mineral Cavern, Upg. Mineral Cavern)
Nymph - Dryad (Garden of Roses, Upg. Garden of Roses)
Gypsy - Enchanter (Column of Mystics, Upg. Column of Mystics)
Pegasus - Dream Pegasus (Dream Nimbus, Upg. Dream Nimbus)

Sparkle Tree - A large bonzai-like tree with many radiant yellow balls floating around it (Breeds Wisps)
Rainbow - A rainbow...(Breeds Brownies)
Mushroom Trench - A dark and moist trench with mushrooms poking out of it (Breeds Fungus)
Enchanted Lake - A sparkling, large pool of water (Breeds Mermaids)
Mineral Cavern - A cave, on the inside you can see many blue crystals. (Breeds Crystal Golems)
Garden of Roses - A large garden with many, many large roses (Breeds Nymphs)
Column of Mystics - A sparkling column that resembles the "Marletto Tower" (Breeds Gypsies)
Dream Nimbus - A giant, light pink cloud that hangs over like...one of the buildings. (Breeds Pegasi)

Blacksmith - Manufactures First-Aid Tents
Pot of Gold - Increases Brownie production by 5
Fountain of Youth - Increases Hero's Spell Power for next battle
Resource Silo - Produces an additional gem per day
Mage Guild - Goes up to level 5
Grail: Blossom of Life - (A humongous pink flower which reaches up to the Dream Nimbus) - Does all the normal grail stuff like +50% creature production and 5000 gold per day but also raises the luck by three of all heroes belonging to the Spring.

I'd draw a sketch of what I think the "Spring" should look like and scan it in but...my scanner McSucks o.o Anyway yeah :) This was actually fun to do...

I think Archangelcastle is very good site, but the Heroes4...I have all the 3 three Heroes games. HOMM, HOMM2; the succession wars, HOMM3; The Restoration of Erathia and Shadow of Death. I miss only the Armageddon`s Blade. And I have watch the Mummy Returns movie, so I know something (I have read the books of egyptian mythology too). The problem is, that in Heroes4, in a egypt(?) town, there is a scorpion king. And it has been put quite weak. Scorpion King was very powerful warrior and fighted 7 years against his enemy. Then, finally his enemy exiled him to the desert. Scorpion King`s army died one by one and finally only the great warrior himself were alive. Near the dead he made contract with the Anubis (Anubis = the god which had dog`s head). If Anubis let him to defeat his enemies, he will give his soul to Anubis. Scorpion King defeated his enemy with the army of Anubis. But now Anubis took Scorpion King`s soul and he "died". Every 5000years is Scorpion year (egyptian new year) and then Scorpion King will rise. He will be a giant scorpion which have human head. And that`s it. After what I have telling you, I hope that Scorpion King AND Anubis will be higher in that town. And there were talking about Imhotep the high priest? (zombie-mummy-...?) Imhotep had very powerful talents too. He was immortal and could make a giant water- or sandstrom etc. Well, please don`t get angry of this, I just sayed what I KNOW. I hope that HOMM4 makers will know about this. Thanks and sorry about bad english.

Hey, I gots an idea!
Howsabout a HeXen/Heretic Town, with a combination of Dungeon, Inferno and Necropolis units. Yes I know it is not possible but it's an idea so do not judge me or anything. If you do not play Hexen or Heretic and wonder what I'm raving on about, got to www.ravengames.com

Hell.
Heroes: DeathKnight (Might) Necromancer (Magic)
Units:
1.Gargoyle => Gargoyle Firethrower => Burning Gargoyle (Like the Gargoyles in the other HoMM games except with red scaly skin and golden claws and horns, burning gargoyles are black, have red eyes and are protecetd by a fiery aura)
2. Two Header => Ettin => Ettin Lord (Like the Ettins in Hexen)
3. Undead Knight => Ghost Knight => Reiver (Hexen and Heretic again, Reiver's are half a body but fly)
4. Fighter => Slayer => Dark Slayer (The fighter from Hexen, except Dark slayers are in full armour)
5. WereDragon => Fire Breather => WereDemon (Reptilian like beasts with horns who breathe fire).
6. Disciple => Bishop => Necrophant (The Disciples and Bishops from Heretic and Hexen)
7. Serpent => Chaos Serpent => Serpent Rider (Like D'Sparil in Heretic, except he's riding a Chaos serpent from Heretic)
8. Floating Skull => Liche Skull => Iron Liche (Giant flying skull wearing helmet, shoots lasers from eyes)
9. Daemon => Balrog => Balrog Lord (We all know what Balrogs are right?)

Of course 3DO an New World Computing would need to ask for permission from Raven and Id but it is still a good idea. I also saw the Mummy returns and that gave me the idea for another town, like the necropolis but an egyptian style, but it will have vampires.

Cryptopia: Pharoah (Might) HighPriest (Magic)

Units:
1. Swarm => Bug Swarm => Scarab Swarm (A small clous of flying insects)
2. Pygmy => Cannibal => Ghouling (Like those little pygmy things with blowdarts)
3. Zombie => Mummy => Mummy Warrior (Like the mummies in the Bus chase scene armed with swords, Zombies are in rags, mummies are skinny zombies in wrapping, mummy warriors are mummies but wearing crowns and with a little armou on)
4. Priest of Anubis => Zealot of Anubis => Anubis Warrior (Priest and Zealots fight with hand scythes, they are men dressed in egyptian garb and wearing anubis masks. Anubis warriors are the Anubis Warriors in the Mummy Returns)
5. Dust Wraith => Sand Wraith => Smoke Wraith (Like a sand storm with a large face in it, Smoke Wraiths are a billowing smoky shape with a face in it)
6. Ghoul Mage => Vampyre => Vamyre Mage (Ghoul mages are like Imhotep in his mummy form but wearing tattered rags, Vampyres are like Imhotep in human form but in only a large black robe, the vampyre mages are like vampyres but the are adorned in gold jewelery)
7. Zombie Knight => Mummy Knight => Grand Mummy Knight (Like Zombies and Mummies but riding skeleton steeds)
8. Dust Maggot => Sand Maggot => Dessert Maggot (Large Msggots, Dessert Maggot has spines on his back)
9. Scorpion => Demon Scorpion => Scorpion King (Giant scorpions, Demon scorpions are scorpions but with a human head, the Scorpion kings are the like the scorpion knig when he turns into a big d\scorpion/drider thing)

The Dungeon will have nothing really new. It will be called the beast keep though.

Beast Keep: Tamer (Might) Warlock (Magic)

Units:
1. Feral => Beast => Hell Beast (Small feral like beast)
2. Troglodyte => Troglodyte Leader => Troglodyte Slave Lord (Like in HoMM3 except Slave Lord is armed with small whip)
3. Bird Woman => Harpy => Harpy Hag (Like in HoMM3)
4. Goatling => Goat Man => Goat Demon (Like the Goat Demons in Diablo armed with bows)
5. Snake Witch => Medusae => Medusae Queen (Like in HoMM3 except fire venom spheres)
6. Minotaur => Minotaur King => Labyrinth Lord (Like in HoMM3 but larger)
7. Manticore => Manticore Rider => Scorpiore Rider (Like in HoMM3 but have a rider)
8. Hydra => Fire Hydra => Frost Hydra (Like in HoMM2. Fire Hydra is a little red in colour and has a fiery bite. Frost Hydra's are white and light blue with bites that freeze)
9. Green Dragon => Red Dragon => Black Dragon (Like in the other HoMM3 games)

I'll send more, Including a dungeon town filled with werewolves, succubi and dark elves, maybe even the headless horseman from sleepy hollow, meanwhile goodbye.

I have always wanted to have natural effects in the world. This meansstorms, wind, rain, mud, earthquakes, etc. I believe that this wouldmake battles different. Archers fighting in wind do less damage. Troopsmoving in mud or rain go slower. Morale can be affected by severeweather. A lot of these things can make a ho-hum game into something farmore interesting, as you can plan for good weather and bad.

2001-06-07
For the news heroes, you can make a water heroes similar as Poseidon with the biggest creatures the Leviathan. We could found sea horse. You can make a spell to give life to conflux's creature and wizard'screatures.
Sorry for my english
